Im looking at any boat over 23' long, in peticular the Malibu 247 lsv. I want to know about the wake performance from a rider and not a salesman. What does everyone think?

i know the 23 lsv but the 247 is a big boat, before you buy you need to ride it, its the only way. seriously its different strockes for different folks.

don't rule out the 24SSV...I've heard some good things from some very good riders.

if you are the one who wants to know how the wake performance is, do what michael says and take a demo, asking guys on here will just give you even more opinions other than your own, take a demo and see for yourself..

24SSV=Mackin' Wake
247=Mackin' Wake
X-45=Mackin' Wake

They're all great wake boats. They'll all require a ton of weight and burn a ton of gas. Pick which one is the most comfortable and fits your style the best. Also pick the one that where the dealer makes you the most comfortable.

Evan,

Did you see my thread on the X-45 wake? I only have been behind it once, and was the owner's first time out, so it likely needed some adjustment, but was not thrilled with it. You have been behind it and found it to be good?

http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/565176.html?1207659382

The Tige RZ4 and 24Ve have a terrific wake. As was suggested, you need to ride behind them and make a decision that works with your heart. Dealer support will be important if you can't see a difference.

All the boats mentioned above are great choices. You really should take a ride behind each one and see which you like best. Any dealer worth their salt should be more than willing to setup you up with a demo ride for the kind of money you will be spending on any of these boats.

also don't rule out the super air 230/236 killer wake!

The Centurion Enzo 240 is also a great choice. If you load it up wake is huge. Check out the Centurion Team video at a dealer or boat show for lots of great shots of the wake.
