I got a pair of Low Pros .75" to try on my 07 SS recoil just before the sale... arg, ohh well. but if i like them (i have not rode with them yet.) then i will get 2 more for the other end and save at least $15.

i drilled the holes of my 07 recoil to mount the newer SS fins that went from 3/16 to 1/4 inch screw holes so i got the 1/4 inch screw/hardware pack. they fit almost perfectly flush to the board. just a tiny tiny ammount of space in the center of the fin, which is better than at the tip and tail of the fin. i'll post pictures shortly.

P.S. i am temporarily using old hyperlite binding bolts for my fins because the screw length of the provided screws will need to be ground down because slingshot boards are so thin. but the bolts pictured from the hardware pack ARE indeed the CDI ones

speaking of grinding down, i will probably end up smoothing out the tail end corner of these fins as it is pretty sharp. the .75" appear to be a blunted down version of the 1.0" (notice the flattened top)

had my first set with the fins yesterday. my friend has a recoil too and had the 1" slingshot fins, so i rode mine with the CDI low pro and then rode his. i figured it would be easier to do this than unbolt the two fins i had and switch them around for a better feel with my good foot forward.

Fom my intermediate skills i would judge the grip of the low pro fins to be about half of the SS 1 inch fins. they felt pretty close to what the .75" SS fins feel like based on memmory from a set a couple of weeks ago.

i like the idea of the weight distribution of a wider base and the hardware as well so i'll get 2 more i think.
