faceplanter69 03-19-2006 7:49 AM

Wow, you can really tell this is a California forum. In our neck of the woods I've never seen a Sanger on the water before and yet there has been more pictures then if someone said let's see your MC.

They really are a great looking boat. Wakestyle, I like the black yellow combo. I guess when someone asks advice on boats that's why you have 30 people suggest Malibu 15 suggest Sanger and 10 for all the rest(most of the forum members are from Cali). Those are the two big ones out there on the west coast right? Made out there I mean. Here, when I have a Malibu, that's the only BU on the lake, no sangers. Nice boats guys, one of these days I'd like to see what all the Sanger hype is all about.

sherman 03-19-2006 9:34 AM

Paul come on out and I can hook you up in a 210,215, and a 230, It's a great boat sacked out unsacked

litlone873 03-19-2006 9:35 AM

Paul,

Sanger is made in California and only 300 or so are made a year but not only Californian's have them. Check out the "Sanger Owner's Club" thread and you will see there are quite a few in other states too... even on in Australia.

As far as this being a "California forum", that's not true at all. There is a very wide representation of other states as well as other countries.

Perhaps David Williams could post some stats on number of members from all the states?

texag 03-19-2006 10:19 AM

Paul-
Proud Texan here happy to report that I just bought a Sanger and am pretty psyched about it. One of the things I like about it is that you don't see alot of them here. Makes it a bit more unique...

ralph 03-19-2006 1:06 PM

From New Zealand!

I know there is one 215 in Ausy & A DLX and V210 in Japan.
faceplanter69 03-19-2006 1:11 PM

DEB

Congrats on the new boat. Do you have a dealer close by? Correct me if I'm wrong but don't Sangers have Merc's in them? I guess that should make it much easier to get service done if you ever need it. Merc service is pretty much everywhere.

Renee.

Not a Cali Wakeworld forum? It's not a big deal but I would say a good half of the regular posters on here are from California, if not more. Boats are very centralized, I just find it funny that when ever someone asks "which boat I should buy?" There are alway 5-1 posts that they should buy a Malibu. Not that they're bad boats, they're great. When you have the most people on the forum from one state and where BU's are made it may look to someone that doesn't know better that they are the be all and end all in boats. Just an observation from someone out of the Cali/Texas bubble.

There was a post just the other day about LSV vs X-30. There were 5 guys right away all from Cali I believe say the LSV. I don't think anyone said, maybe you should test them both and see which one you prefer. The poster came back and said, ya, I guess I'll go with the LSV. If he was comparing the old X-30 then ya I'd go with the LSV. However the new X-30, that's a well thought out really well made boat. I'd actually go with the X-30 myself. I don't care though, so I don't want to get into it with a bunch of fellow BU owners. Their goggles are too thick! They don't realize that our BU's are the worst handling boat on the water when we throw some weight in them and put the wedge down.

litlone873 03-19-2006 2:26 PM

Daren, those are some beautiful shots of your V210. Where/how did you get your boat? I'm always curious how those out of state/country got their Sangers.

ralph 03-19-2006 3:05 PM

I was looking for a second hand boat to import and through this forum got hooked on Sangers. Barry (who is MIA now) gave me a helping hand and I ended up ordering a new boat direct from Scott P. As far as I know it was the first Sanger to NZ or Australia.

hdrew 03-19-2006 5:28 PM

Washington State here. We have only seen one other Sanger in the year we have had her. It was an older D-Drive. Sorry for the lame picture. Haven't gotten any cool water shots yet. tx_cook 03-20-2006 6:51 PM

what colors did you get and whats the pole?

elduche 03-20-2006 7:02 PM

I chose black, so the interior will be white and grey with black piping I think. what pole are you referring to?

tx_cook 03-20-2006 7:08 PM

that big blue one coming from the center of the boat towards the front with two smaller ones extending down

elduche 03-20-2006 7:11 PM

Its the front of the tower with some blue protective foam on it. The tower is folded down so the curved front part of the tower is sticking up. at least I think thats what it is.

litlone873 03-20-2006 7:14 PM

Looks like the folded down tower covered in some sort of blue protective covering.

stephan 03-20-2006 7:22 PM

kneeboarder8806 03-23-2006 7:08 AM

no we dont put it in our garage. we have a storage place less than a mile from our house.

mitchm 03-23-2006 6:28 PM

That V215 is hot boat. Too bad we never see any on the east coast

redv215 03-24-2006 9:15 AM

Well I got the decals done last night. Turned out pretty good IMO. Hey Tate I like them, you didn't stray to far from Sanger and blend in with the others (BU,MC,etc)..

litlone873 03-24-2006 11:25 AM

It's basically same V-graphic that Sanger uses, but tweaked a bit to make it stand out more. Now, you can SEE what is says from a distance.

elduche 03-27-2006 10:04 PM

Woohoo! its here! came tonight. It got too dark to take any decent pictures, but I will post more. Sanger has really upgraded the 210 this year. Better drivers seat, drivers footrest, more padded seats. It looks great!

elduche 03-29-2006 9:54 AM

I know, thats the bad thing about buying now! I have to wait to use it. When are you able to get it in the water down there? Up here, it may not be until mid-end of April.

skier86 04-15-2006 6:45 PM

Are there any Sanger Dealership near Dallas, TX?

cal565 04-15-2006 9:27 PM

Craig I think the nearest to you will be in Houston. I just bought mine from the guys there at Houston Watersport Complex. Real nice guys that will take care of you.

pilot_ryder 04-16-2006 10:08 AM

nice boats

skier86 04-16-2006 3:23 PM

I am on a 2 year plan to get a Sanger. Here is my list of things to do so I can purchase my Sanger.

1. In one Month, Graduate college
2. Sell the house, relocate with girlfriend to Dallas, TX
3. Buy new house in Dallas Area
4. Buy furniture for new house
5. Buy new Truck
6. Sell my boat
7. But myself a new SANGER

and there is one important thing that should probalby come before getting the Sanger, but don't tell her that. I should probably get married somewhere in there, but I want the new boat first.

Also I would mind buying the boat from Semper, but it seems like it would be hard to servie it from Dallas. Plus I wonder if I could order one from Madera, what would be the cost to Ship it?
wake_upppp 04-16-2006 5:43 PM

Thanks all. Mark Semper is really sharp. These guys really know boats. Would HIGHLY recommend them.
