What do you think its worth?

I know the economy is bad and there are tons of deals out there but wondering what my boat is worth as I have someone that wants it.

2008 X15 MC MCX, 240 hours, 3 way heater, shower, neon lights inside, swim deck light, FEA, 4 tower speakers 2 w lights, 2 JL amps, bow cushion, bimin top, cover, trailer, etc

it has normal wear tear but very well taken care of. thanks

30K. Let me know when I can pick it up.

I would give you $35K..... ha ha... I would guess upper 40's - 50K.... Stab in the dark with no research....

jame04 10-22-2010 8:18 AM

maybe start at $50 and see where it goes

Check NADA.com and go from there. Just make sure to add in all the extras, motor and trailer to value.

just type craigslist mastercraft x15 in the google search bar and you will find 3-4 in the results. looks like $45k is a competitive asking price, time of year - 10% discount so I think you would have a tough time getting north of $40k between now and March.

I sold my 06 X2 w/ 350 hrs 6 weeks ago for 41k. I think $50k is about right.

I would think that you could get almost $50K. The only thing that I like to use NADA for is delta's between years and models. My '09 X-star (110hrs) is priced to sell at $63K, have an offer to a guy at $62K. The delta for book is almost 12 grand. So I would figure that you should be able to get somewhere around $49K-$50K. I would start out at $51K knowing that nobody will pay exactly what you ask (it does happen, but its rare).

adam say it ain't so!

congrats. that was a clean looking boat. one of my favs. what did you end up with? anything?

jame04 10-23-2010 7:35 AM

$40k should be a fast sale and $50k would be a great price! Not sure if I want to sell now as a new boat would put me near $100k and can't imagine I would have $50-60k more fun with a new one.
