Getting a custom tower put on the boat tomorrow, whats the height of most towers? I was thinking 8 feet so when i put speakers on they dont hit me in the head.

7' from the floor of the boat in almost every case.

7' comes from the pylon origin and that it's high enough that you wont be head banging with it but low enought to easily get the rope on the tow point. <BR> <BR>Normally the tower is 5' from the top/side (gunwale) to the tow point, and the gunwale is 2' above the floor of the boat. <BR> <BR>Post pics. <BR> <BR>Bill
