I've done a few, but must be doing something wrong. I face plant so much.

you mean butterslide?

No, it's called backslide or bodyslide. You lay back into the water sliding on your back then replant the board and regain your stance.

Just out of curiousity, out of all the tricks out there, why learn this one? Seems a little strange...just my opinion.

I try to pull these all the time, but it usually when Im crashing while trying a real trick and Im just trying to stay up. lol.

Reply to David. It's on the trick list for the online tournament. As a beginner and not ready for inverts it one of the next tricks for me. The people in my boat think it looks cool when pulled off. I'm also working on surface 360's and w2w jumps. I can do 180's one wake and olley 180's. It is just something to learn and not much instruction on how to do it.

Hey Terry, once you get these down, you should move on to the "head skip". <BR>Just kidding, lol

07-21-2004 11:07 AM

Ryan, those head skips are why I'm not trying inverts yet. Really, I need to increase my air first.

Do you score more points for multiple head skips on a single run?

07-21-2004 3:10 PM

I think so as long as you slide a different side of your head each time.
