Just saw the trailer for the first flick made from one of the novels... COMPLETELY baffled by the star. Tom Cruise??? What?

Yea, reacher is like 6'3" in the books, isn't Cruise 5'8"?

I'm sure I will go see it though.

At best, I'll wait for DVD. The books are great. I'm surprised more people on this forum haven't read them...

Jack Reacher is supposed to be 6'5", 210 - 250...
Plus the trailer just feels wrong compared to the tone of all the books IMO. Way off the mark.
