Perfect Pass Problems.. Throttle Return Spring??

So this year I got the boat out and have no perfect pass. Boat just keeps going faster and faster and does not back the throttle off at all. 2004 Tige 22v

I replaced the servo motor and realized that was not my problem. The speedo and everything on my control seems to be working and my cable is all together and functionable. I was told I may have broken the throttle return spring.. Is this located inside the throttle lever housing? Does anyone have a picture of the spring or any advice here? Thanks in advance!

they have pics on the site. I broke my spring and had to go to a parts store, buy a package of assorted carb throttle springs. zip tie one end to the throttle arm, where the servo cable meets the throttle and then zip tie the other to a secure non movable location. adjust tension when you get on the water. IF you have it too tight then the boat will slow down as much as it is speeding up now.

You can also order one from PP. they will most likely give you one but you have to pay the shipping for FED EX.
