I'm going to be going to Florida the first week of Feb for work, I am thinking of flying in early and taking a full day at OWC.

My question is how is the weather in fl around that time? Would a shorty suffice? Coming from MN 60 air temp isn't that bad to ride in, but I just wanted to hear what I should expect for riding conditions in FL during that time.

Fug the snow!

The water will be around 60, the air can be anywhere from 45 to 75 depending on the cold fronts you send down from MN.

the water at odub gets FREEZING and soooo choppy, and windy during the winter months.

all you florida guys are so spoiled... 60 degrees is still a blessing for us up here until like july....

It can get cold in Feb. There's been ice on the decks of Odub during the winter.

Odub gets very very very cold...I don't care if you are from Canada it still gets really chilly

from Canada....and we were there last Feb.
First couple of days were in the mid 50's and windy and OWC was a bit choppy. The rest of the week was in the mid 70's and the wind died off.
I'd say a shorty is fine imo.

It all depends on the timing of the cold fronts and how harsh the winter. It could be sunny and warm or cold as heck. I only need a shorty at Odub all winter, but I don't go out if a recent cold front has been though.
