Tannerite
Anyone play with this stuff yet?

Don't know about Tannerite but this is the stuff I've played with:
http://www.shockwavetargets.com Used the 1 pounder, loud, very loud pop. Definately puts a smile on your face. I think its $9.00 for the 1 pounder... |
I have some tannerite. Bought a case of the 1# ones this summer. Just go to their website and order some. Make dang sure you have a lot of space. They are LOUD and powerful. Blew a bundle of fire wood to pieces with a 1# one. Very fun but also attract a lot of attention and the authorities if they happen to be around.

Tannerite is pretty fun stuff! Its pretty cool to see long range shots easily when you hit the target.
I was at a friends farm down in southern indiana last winter and we put 5# of it in a tupperware container, and put it inside an old consol TV that we shot the screen out of. We shot it from across the field and it threw debris everywhere, almost 50-60 yards away. We also took a dermal and cut a 1"x1" whole in a piece of 4" conduit (buddy is an electrician)... and put a 1# target in there -- that one peeled the conduit apart it was pretty impressive! Took quite a while to pick up after ourselves. Definitely something to be careful with, but great fun! |
Cool. I bought 70 pounds. We're going to try it in the desert.
