A customer dropped off an 07 Centurion Enzo today that has the Evolution tower. Along with the stereo, he wants some sort of rear-facing lights. The tower is not made of tubing, and I think there is only 1 hole on each outer side of the tower. <BR> <BR>Anyone have any ideas?

I have the same boat and was doing some research. On the outside where those holes are put some 4in or 6in Xmitter LED's. Pricey but will work well. Ive seen them installed on a malibu tower and they look awesome.

Call Paul @ bakes marine. He is working on HID lighting that should be available this week. I have been on the boat that did all the prototyping for the mounts and all I can say is those lights are stupid bright 2 would be more than enough. If memory serves me right the evolution tower mount is the same as the Illusion tower. So they should work. low amp draw is also a big bonus. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by liljohn on October 26, 2009)

John here are the lights on my boat that Paul is working on. These are 1850 lumens each and draw 3 amps each. <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/743629.jpg" alt="Upload">

ya those are the ones. It was like day light!
I have a pair of KC daylighters on my centurion, and they light up the night!
Duffy you hunting kangaroo with those things, they're huge. These are only 2.5" OD.
How do those mount? The outer hole isn't tapped and doesn't go all the way through. Any suggestions? I had already recommended something like Hell 500FF's but not sure if they'd look good up there.
They have an insert that the light threads in to inside that hole in the tower.
I was thinking about putting these on my evo tower. Looks like they would mount pretty cleanly and they look cool IMO. <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.truckcustomizers.com/products/recon-reverse-projector-lighting.html" target="_blank">http://www.truckcustomizers.com/products/recon-reverse-projector-lighting.html</a>

nu bu, I guess I could get that insert from Bakes? <BR> <BR>There's a concern that the lights need to stay pretty close to the edge of the tower as it fits pretty tight into the dock/lift where they keep it.
John the lights are supper small I think the only stand off the tower 3". I would tuch base with paul he can tell you for sure. I was in the shop on friday checking them out and they looked super sweet. he has 2 sizes available and the 3" ones are the larger ones. So you could shrink that with the smaller lights. keep in mind the small light still put out more lumans then anything I have seen on the market.
John I really doubt they would sell you just the insert, it only works with the lights they sell. <BR> <BR>Here is a picture of the larger light on my tower. This light is about 2.5" OD and 4" long and puts out about 1900 lumens. <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/744716.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR> <BR>(Message edited by 05mobiuslsv on November 01, 2009)

Thanks for the posts and pics fellas.... I'll call Bakes this week to see what they can do for me. I asked about just buying the insert, but if they have the whole thing I'd go that route.

Customer wants to use this on the top of the tower, but it will interfere wtih the bimini. Any suggestions? <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.rigidindustries.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=RGDL30" target="_blank">http://www.rigidindustries.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=RGDL30</a>

He just wants to light the place up.....
Maybe your customer is on to something if you can get it to look good on the tower.
