It looks to me like Asterisk is specific to dirt biking and other motor sports. Are there others that have an opinion?

CTI makes a seal that you put around the hinges to keep it dry and well lubed. couple of my buddies ride with that seal piece, but i dont and my CTI 1 is just fine. the seal is about 45 bucks, shoot me a email if you need some, there is a dealer here in spokane.

asterisk is a sister company to CTI. CTI wanted to design an 'off the shelf' sister to the CTI2 brace for people who have not hurt their knees 'YET'. same technology and hinges in both. wow, that sounds like a commercial. sorry. i've just been researching both. for moto-x and wakeskating.
