dlwsrider 03-22-2008 4:33 PM

I think we have already established that it's just you and me, haha.

Seriously though, how was the cable park?

nwa479 03-22-2008 5:41 PM

Haha yea mane i'm ready to get some ridin done, it was ok kinda windy they only had the kicker in the water so i got kinda bored after a while.

dlwsrider 03-22-2008 5:57 PM

They putting in anything else anytime soon?

and how was the water temp?

nwa479 03-22-2008 6:12 PM

Ehhh they said there were two more rails goin in by the end of this week i guess. The water wasnt bad man but i had a fullsuit on. what are you doin next weekend? Were goin to kc.

dlwsrider 03-22-2008 6:45 PM

I'm going to the OKC cable armed with only a shorty, so I'm hoping it's warmed up a bit, lol.

Nice, who all are you with?

nwa479 03-22-2008 8:32 PM

It shouldnt be too bad man, Ive got just a couple people goin right now so ive got room if youre down

wakemitch 03-23-2008 8:25 AM

On wakeskating.com there is this guy with a wake edition sea doo that lives in Texarkana

nwa479 03-23-2008 9:02 AM

Really? thanks man for the nfo.

dlwsrider 03-24-2008 9:10 PM

Ah I wish I could, but Im going with a friend of mine to OKC and we already got it all planned out.

I went out on Ouachita with some strapper friends last night, and I nearly froze my balls off. It's freakin' cold. At this rate, it's gonna be late april before the water is close to comfortable.

Mitch, would his name happen to be Aaron Reed? The shop I ride for had one for some reason or another and sold it to a guy named Aaron Reed (strange huh?).

lovin_the_wake 03-25-2008 7:41 AM

I'm in Rogers Arkansas is that NW enough for ya ?

lovin_the_wake 03-25-2008 7:45 AM

nwa479 03-25-2008 5:12 PM

sick man i live between hickory creek and war eagle the lake is my back yard, we need to ride soon. I'm hopefully going to the kc cable park this weekend if youre down, if not ill prob go to the hot lake in gentry

lovin_the_wake 03-25-2008 6:45 PM

nwa479 03-25-2008 9:48 PM

yea

lovin_the_wake 03-26-2008 7:21 AM

Do you ride there often ? I was gonna try it out last fall and never got around to it how is it out there ? Is it pretty deep ? Long and Wide ? hee hee

nwa479 03-26-2008 10:59 AM

Its ok for the sea doo cuz you can go way back in the channels but it kinda sucks with a boat, a little windy

lovin_the_wake 03-26-2008 12:20 PM

Cool Cool we'll definitely have to hook up and do some ridin' soon This weekend I gotta finish up my ballast install and then we have to try and get the Ski put back together and make sure it's in tip top shape so as soon as the Ski is up and running we'll have to take it out to Swepco to try her out in about 3 weekends I will be down for some serious ridin' . . . Do you skate only or do you wakeboard too ?

lovin_the_wake 03-31-2008 7:02 AM

Darrin, What did you end up doing this weekend ?

nwa479 03-31-2008 5:41 PM

man i just sat at home.....were goin up to kc next weekend.

savage 03-31-2008 9:13 PM

I'm 30 minutes from ft smith. Planning on hitting up the cable park in okc soon hopefully.

lovin_the_wake 03-31-2008 9:18 PM

You ever come up to Table Rock? Lots of us up here....

lovin_the_wake 05-21-2008 7:23 PM

bump

lovin_the_wake 07-14-2008 8:42 AM

Anyone wanna go winching in the NW AR area Bentonville, Rogers, Lowell, Springdale, or Fayetteville

dlwsrider 07-15-2008 2:37 PM

Darrin would probably love too, he lives up there, send him a message and I am sure that he would be more than willing, haha.

lovin_the_wake 07-15-2008 5:02 PM

Well actually I sent him a couple messages a while back and got no response I think I might just start stalking him My friends are all lazy and they prefer strapping over skating

dlwsrider 07-15-2008 8:08 PM

Even strapping would be fun in some of the winch spots, haha.

I'll text him and tell him to find you

lovin_the_wake 07-16-2008 7:15 AM

I wanna find a place around here to put some sliders and then I might be willing to strap on my Roam and go winchin' but for the most part I just wanna skate

dlwsrider 07-16-2008 8:03 PM

I gotcha. I texted him last night and he said he would find you it think. I accidently deleted the texts, but it was something of that nature, haha.

lovin_the_wake 07-16-2008 8:20 PM

Awesome thanks . . . I need to find a few reliable people to ride with

calexan 08-13-2009 11:45 AM

I guess im gonna try to give it a go this weekend. Whats easier to learn behind... Ive got a Seadoo RXP which would be much easier on gas or a Bu 23 LSV? Im guessing wake shouldnt really be that big a deal if im just trying to get comfortable on a skate.

Last question.... Can i rock my regular Nike SB dunks and just tighten em a little or do wakeskate shoes need a hole to drain or does it really even matter?

dlwsrider 08-14-2009 12:22 PM

It matters, but not until you're doing shuvs and other tricks that come with progression. I like riding boat, but it's all what you feel up too.

calexan 09-16-2009 9:45 PM

Well first time was interesting.... only thing i can say is that board is slick! and movement and i go flying... I had fun, just seems like a steep learning curve just to get good control.

Ended up messing up my knee coming down wrong wakeboarding, but i might try skating again this weekend because it seems like the falls werent as bad, although the look worse. Atleast i got some funny pictures...

wakemitch 09-16-2009 11:24 PM

Chance, try some shoes.

jasonpav 09-17-2009 2:58 PM

Agreed. Even with a foam-top wakeskate, shoes will do wonders for you

calexan 09-17-2009 3:07 PM

Yea i meant to take some.... just simply forgot them and figured flip-flops would be worthless... Im taking some this weekend...

ryanbush11 10-04-2009 11:42 AM

we were on beaver last weekend in prarie creek, good chance we might ride after the Hog game this weekend

dlwsrider 10-04-2009 12:00 PM

Ryan, I go to U of A, and will be at the game. Where will you be riding at?

ryanbush11 10-04-2009 7:36 PM

Either Tenkiller or Beaver, most likely tenkiller
