hey guys- after staring at massive amounts of pics and reading, i'm trying to get my boat better set up for surfing. i presently have a fat seat (1500#) for the rear of my boat, about 100# (lead) and looking into getting a ski locker bag for the center of my boat. we're just getting into surfing and would like to know what your thoughts are- honest thoughts and yes, that is my head on the backside of the wake its the only decent one i had. btw- the boat is a 1992 sanger, direct drive. thanks in advance.

Looks like a pretty good sized wave to me but really need to fix that second curl. I would think maybe needs to lean more to port side.

Weighting all across the rear of the boat is what I do too, but only about 700lbs. Then the rest I put ALL on the port side. Usually another 700lbs alongside the motor, plus a 400lb in under the open bow that is way to the port side too. This is in an 87 SunSport DD.

Maybe post a pic of the boat in the water and a wider wave shot might help too if you happen to have it.

Maybe a pic of the transom too, that's a nasty second lip.
