The wind looks a little sketchy now...but meteorologist Mike Godsey is calling for the Central Valley thermal low to expand out to the Bay Area...making for calm conditions....

Saturday & Sunday the Central Valley thermal low expands over the Bay Area and the pressure gradient drops to near zero. At the same time the North Pacific High's surface NW winds focus WEST of the ocean buoys. Temps reach the mid 90's but there is a good chacne the heating in the East Bay will create a local sea breezes that suddenly develops around 4PM at Crissy, Coyote & 3rd. to the upper teens. This wind may be a slog to get too but worth the effort on a hot day. Monday or more likely Tuesday a good chance of a cool down as approaching tiny upper trough helps trigger a marine surge and upper teens to low 20's wind from the north tower past Treasure Island, over Pt. Isabel to Sherman Island.

Saturday:
Heat wave develops and all the sensors read sub to low teens in the AM. Warm even at the beaches. Then an abrupt local sea breezes may flow outside at Crissy and a bit closer to shore at Coyote and 3rd. Ave. Not much wind action elsewhere.

Sunday:
Heat wave continues and all the sensors read sub to low teens in the AM. Warm even at the beaches. Then an abrupt local sea breezes may flow outside at Crissy and a bit closer to shore at Coyote and 3rd. Ave. Not much wind action elsewhere.
