Are their any speakers worth putting into my 4 Tower Cans. Currently my boat has MB-Qz which I can barely here while riding (boat had them when I bought it). Before going out and buy a whole new set up thought, I might be able to find a quality speaker that may be able to project some tunes out to the rider while still using the existing cans. Any advice, suggestion, or help would be great.

Moon

wetsounds 6.5's or some waterproffed pro audio mid bass drivers.

What amp are you driving them with, how are they wired - 2ohm or 4ohm. Need to look at the Watts to the speakers, putting slicks on a Pinto will not make it a race car, may need a new amp and/or speakers.

Bullet Hollow point 650's are pro audio and you can buy them without the cans. You'll likely need more amp though.

Would have to know which tower cans. Could be Mako, Boss, etc.
Boss had both 5¼” and 6½” cans in both coaxial and component versions.
Also, what amplifier are you using to drive them?

David E.M.

I have 6.5 cans and I believe it is a 12" JL sub. not sure about the watts and how the speakers and sub is wired to the amp. Every once in a while the system won't work. Is this due to the amp getting to hot? I'll try to get more info when I get a chance (boat is in storage for the winter).

Moon
