Board Upgrade--Remote?
I have been looking to get a new wakeskate. I'm 6'0 and 175 ibs,
I am looking for a board that will be used 80% of the time behind a seadoo, so one that gives good pop. I have been researching and I heard great things about Remote Boards but I haven't had the change to try one out. What would you guys would suggest for a new board - possibly the Remote Lecomte or the Labadens? And also is there a big difference between the 2012/2013 models? Thanks in advance. |
Definitely check out the Remotes. They are so good.
I ride behind a seadoo, boat, and cable a lot and love it in every situation. There is no difference between the 2012s and 2013s. They dont really have model years, they just do different graphic changes a couple times a year similar to skateboards. The shape is really good and the boards last longer than any other wood deck so I wouldnt change a good thing. The ONE change is that the most current Horan is one ply thinner (same as the Taylor). |
Okay, thanks
Which Remote board would you recommend? What are the main differences between them? |
They are all the same shape but different sizes. The 38.5 and 41 are one ply thinner making them feel a little different.
at 6' I think you would like the 40.5 I'm 5'8" and ride the 38.5". I like the thicker boards too, but I like shorter skates. |
I have a remote 39.5 Roadkill series for sale if you are interested.
