Raph Derome Unreal Video AGAIN!!!!!!

Hey everyone, I came across this new video from Raph Derome today! I thought I should share!!!!

It'll BLOW your mind!

http://www.wakeworld.com/news/feature/raph.html/

The innovation, and creativity being brought in the sport I think is beyond sick!

Sick Edit Raph, Justin, and Jonathan. You guys did it again!

Mind - blown. Wow

Mind blown for sure.
simply incredible

i cant imagine how many times he must have had to hit those rails and the tied up can and.. and... to get it all put together... that or he is just that good. only saw a couple of crashes that were thrown in the end.

i had to pause the video to see how hard he was coming down on that pipe rail.
check the reverse flex on that board.

Readyaimfire 09-10-2012 2:51 AM

Yup, saw this yesterday. This is as revolutionary as Parks on that original sketchy pointless setup. Your watching it happen, but don't believe it's possible. Gigantic frontside wall ride to Indy tantrum, psssshhh!

TheHebrewHammer 09-10-2012 7:11 AM

I was hoping to be the first to post this, but y'all beat me to it. Insane! Even the wake riding in this one was next level awesome.

DBurke 09-10-2012 7:19 AM

All the more proof why he won wakeboarder of the year, he is sick at everything!

petrie141 09-10-2012 7:25 AM

Here's what I bet was said the day of shooting that video:

Rail Builder: "Hey Raph, is this rail sketchy enough?"
Raph: "Not nearly enough. Hike it up about 4 more feet, make sure it shakes when I ride it, and only use parts from the side of the road."
Rail Builder: "You got it, Bro."

A few hours later, we have this great video. It looks like cable riding is developing a bipartisan community of riders just like boat riding did. Video VS.Comp. I like 'em both! Keep up the good riding, Raph!

andy_nintzel 09-10-2012 8:09 AM

WOW! I dont think I have been this blown away watching a vid for s few years since the Harley web edits. That was amazing! Good Work RAPH! I hope to see way more vids like this!

jarrod 09-10-2012 8:33 AM

Some of those rails were so sketch, and he murdered every one of them. Absolutely amazing.

ridemarktwain 09-10-2012 8:39 AM

Best video I've see all year.

johnny_defacto 09-10-2012 10:21 AM

hole

lee

johnny_defacto 09-10-2012 10:22 AM

crap that was incredible.

It sure looks like cable boarding translates to a bunch of really cool rewind stuff behind the boat

bcrider 09-10-2012 11:14 AM

The tantrum off the wall ride was sick and I liked that Rope rail thing.

captain_vilfo 09-10-2012 12:51 PM

easily one of, if not the the best edit ive ever seen

wakeboardertj 09-10-2012 12:57 PM

That was Ridiculous! Wallride to tantrum.... wtf

durty_curt 09-10-2012 3:06 PM

I didn't see a single Zeach in that film! So i hope this doesnt end up on the wake Zeach trash site.

Reminds me of the 3 shred town guys a few years back. Doing some of the most sketchy rails gaps etc. except this was allot more gooder! (yes gooder)

theloungelife 09-10-2012 3:21 PM

Yeah, that was totally insane. The only possible zeach I saw was at :56, but I don't even care. It was mega pressed.

It would be awesome to see an edit of Raph hanging with Shredtown. I can't even imagine what might go down.

yeahhh 09-10-2012 3:51 PM

Loved the snowboarding influence in this. More of this please.

hawkeye7708 09-10-2012 5:42 PM

Just nuts. That was so much fun to watch this morning. I will say this... that drop is putting some SEROUS faith in your board haha

captain_vilfo 09-10-2012 5:48 PM

still analyzing how the hell he used a chain as a slider

hawkeye7708 09-10-2012 5:50 PM

^^^^ one heck of a come-along or some big ol' anchors haha

paulharenberg 09-10-2012 6:37 PM

Reminds me of some of the stuff you could do in the Shaun Murray video game years back. Except he actually does it. Awesome video.

VinnyA 09-10-2012 6:58 PM

cannot stop watching it hahahha

Jmaxymek 09-10-2012 7:15 PM

Watched it, then brought it into the living room for the family. Everyone was blown away. Really wish he had that wall ride to whirly, but the entire video was just insane. Anybody know where that was? Does Raph have a private lake on the side of the highway next to a rest stop?

jordanleininger21 09-10-2012 7:35 PM

one of the best web videos I have seen. Raph shreds both rails and wake incredible.

jordanleininger21 09-10-2012 7:41 PM

i just noticed he hits the chain set up in a collard shirt haha keeping it classy

jordanleininger21 09-10-2012 7:42 PM

collared

beretta5spd 09-10-2012 7:47 PM

The Deromes have their own private lake beside the highway. It's equipped with a system 2 and has lots of room for the mxz. I think they even own a go kart track there

detonate69 09-11-2012 9:33 PM

absolutely sick edit. awesome to see some original outside the box riding. Keep it up Raph!

Luker 09-12-2012 5:16 AM

I love that this video is so damn good that it is immune from the style and safety police. No cries for life jackets or questions about Raph's attire... just shock and awe at the riding... exactly how it should be :D

ilovelake 09-17-2012 2:04 PM

It looks like he was riding a Watson Classic 134 (orange) behind the boat, can anyone confirm? How big is he? Seems like kind of a short board to me but based on that video I obviously have no idea what I'm talking about. Maybe that's why I can't do 1080s and double flips, my board's too long..

In general though, it seems like all the board manufacturers have gradually widened the stance ranges on all their boards over the last few years. Used to be you had to go with one of the longer versions of a given model to get a decently wide stance (maxed out). But nowadays does anyone find themselves going back towards shorter boards since the stance width is now available there as well?

ilovelake 09-17-2012 8:00 PM

Also the narrower binding base plates have contributed to wider possible stances, but mostly this is just a cheap bump.

ttrigo 09-18-2012 7:38 AM

The wall riding was crazy. Reminded me of some stuff gabe lucas was doing a few years back. Raph is on another level right now.

cj1 09-18-2012 8:43 AM

Has anyone ridden the 2012 flx and could compare it to a slingshot? Im thinking about getting the flx but idk how the landings would be with a three stage rocker opposed to a continuous?
