Is this a second cable park in the Dallas area? I think there is one that is under construction and supposed to open this Fall.

dwcchad 10-14-2009 9:06 AM

Yes. We are looking to open early summer 2010.
We are located in Downtown Dallas
They are in Cresson TX.. Looking forward to that one too should be a great Park.

Clock or counter clockwise cable?

dwcchad 10-14-2009 1:22 PM

both plus two of the smaller systems

bendow 10-14-2009 2:27 PM

holy crap! another one? nice!

jayroe65 10-15-2009 5:59 AM

I have heard of one in fort worth as well

If you're in the area make sure to attend and show support. Keep the wake parks coming, it'll only be good for the sport in the long run.

It's a 20 hr. drive for me though so I think I'll skip, but good luck!

Is DWC associated with OWC? I see you have them as one of your quick links on the site + kinda share the name...

I use to ride at a cable park in Fl back in the day. I can't believe it took this long to get here. Jet

Is your park rixen or sesitec?

texastbird 10-15-2009 4:07 PM

The two new parks (Dallas and Cesson) are Rixen (or Rixen style) parks. We do have a Sesitec park in DFW as well, at Texas Mastercraft.

curtbernstein 10-15-2009 9:49 PM

Ok let me get this straight... Dallas Watersports Complex is proposing two Rixen full size cables, one running clock and one running counter clock. Texas Mastercraft has a system 2.0, not a full size sesitec cable. To my knowledge, there are no full size sesitec cables in the United States...
