I know this has been covered multiple times before, but my search abilities are not very good. I know Perfect Pass runs around $1200 just for the parts, but what is the average going rate for installation? I'm fairly mecahnical, is this a job I can do myself easily enough? This would potentially be for a 2004 Malibu 23 LSV.

Do it yourself. It's fairly easy and takes around 3-4 hours to install.

DIY. It's not fairly easy. It's extremely easy.

DIY. PP has great customer service if you have any problems. The hardest part is working up the courage to drill a hole in the bottom of your boat.<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/uhoh.gif" border=0> You shouldn't have to do this since you probably already have a paddlewheel
