hello , im a beginner and have trouble holding on with 2 hand while staying inside the wake. Turning hard , i can hold on with 2 hands easy but when it comes to holding on with 2 hands and going strait i seem to lose control and feel unstable , one handed im fine i can surf around but it just wears on me . I would like to be able to do both. Can anyone please give me advise or something i can do to train my self outside of the water? any advise would help

When you ride with both hands, make sure the handle is down closer to your hips, and not too far out. It's not like one handed, where you're arm's extended, but don't fight it to pull it really close. Your arms should both be relaxed. Make sure the handle is right next to your side pointing at the boat, don't try to pull it in front of your chest. Your body from the hips down should be completely sideways, you can turn your upper body more towards the boat, most people have their shoulders somewhere around 45 degrees. Bend your knees a bit, and put your chest out. Look at websites or magazines for a good picture. I think I have one, I'll post it if I can find it.

The handle needs to be at your front hip. As a beginner it's common to pull the handle to your waist which pulls the back end of the board around or makes you cut left or right (depending on which foot is forward).

So just make sure your shoulders are turned towards the boat and you should be ok. After riding holding on with one hand you should get the feel for where the handle needs to be.
As mentioned, just lock the handle down on your leading hip and puff your chest out like you're Tarzan or some sort of body builder lol.

Out of the water I would recomend finding a stick, a rolling pin would work. Stand infront of a mirror and practice your stance. Learn the feel of it and you'll be fine.

Next on the water you'll be needing to learn how to carve; Going out heelside is easy, just bring the rope out a little infront of you and lean back like you're stretching in a chair except keep your arms out infront and the handle down low.

Going toeside you want to jam the handle to your ass and just lean forward. If you feel like you're going to stack it just whip the handle back out front again and carve back out.
