So after spending all night Friday working on my next wake project, I wake up Saturday to find that Adobe Premier crapped the bed and even after rendering my project, it doesn't stream smoothly. (super skippy, both audio and video). I work on a Dell Latitude D610 which is on it last leg. Yesterday I freed up a fair amount of space on my harddrive and defragmented my drive, but it doesn't seem that anything has changed. Also, it seems that video from every hosting site is 'skippy' as well, and doesn't play smooth (vimeo, Wakeplace, liquid circus etc.)

Any suggestions here guys? I'm going to reinstall Premier Pro later today to see it that doesn't work, but it seems odd that I'm having problems with video even from the internet...

I appreciate the help.

Local playback should be fine...

* What's the proc in your computer?

* How many processes do you have running/resources being used? Take a look at your Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL > Task Manager)

* What speed is your harddrive? 5400, 7200?

* How did it look when you analyzed your drive(s) with the defreg utility?

* What's your internet connection like? http://www.speedtest.net/

* What type of video file did you render (Flash, .mov, .wmv, avi, etc..)?

* Does this happen when you try to playback any other video locally on your computer?

* Do you have a running nose or fever?
