she didn't even get memtioned and they had a girl basketball player nominated.

what-ever

late/jake

Didn't she win an ESPY last year??? If so, has she done anything, since then, to prove she's any better than she was at that time? I think that's probably the reasoning behind it all.

I think every wakeboarder knows she's an incredible rider, and is in a league of her own... And don't get me wrong, I definitely think the chick is one of the better riders, male and female combined. But, I don't think she's getting the recoginition she needs to win multiple ESPY's.

-Blake

yeah guys basketball is so gay. dallas should SO win every year.

dakid 07-18-2005 12:02 AM

scotta
I didn't say guys BB, I said girls BB
what you said is apples to oranges. and guys BB isn't gay, it's a great sport to play when you aren't wakeboarding or in your case wakeskating.
how is that going for you now anyway? have you pulled off any surface 360's

My point is- last year she won an ESPY for female athletic of the year and She is better this year then she was last year and they didn't even nominate her. I am not saying she should have won but she should have at least been recognized.

you feel me knockin'?

late/jake

HEY....this is a perfect opportunity to have another discussion about Dallas' life - which none of us know anything about!

They got invited to stay another week there. How sweet would that be.
for more info about the event check out
www.BlissSports.com
Solie is almost always on the podium at the Bliss Events.
Next WB/wakeskate contest Aug 7th

yeah, i think a snowboarder chick won in the category dallas won in previously, but this isn't all bad, because if any one you have seen the (pro) girls in snowboarding these days, you would know what i mean

xtremebordgurl 07-29-2005 9:16 AM
