Just bought my first boat

1989 Ski Nautique 2001. I've been wanting one for a while now, found this one for a good deal and finally pulled the trigger. I can't wait for spring!

Nice SN2001!

I had a 89' SN 2001 for my first boat as well! Loved that boat! Still see it out on the water from time to time looking good!

Congrats, back in the day a buddy and me sac'd his 2001 way out and it was UNBELIEVABLE!

lfrider139 01-07-2013 6:21 AM

Thanks fellas, I've got about 1000lbs in sacks, looking forward to getting the wake dialed. Any recommendations on to configure the weight?

cbarguy1 01-07-2013 7:39 AM

Congrats. Correct Craft makes probably the best built boat in its class. I had a 1992 SN that I bought used and kept for 10 years. Never gave me any greif. I hear the 2001 has a great board wake for a DD. You will love it.

boardman74 01-07-2013 7:43 AM

Congrats. Nothing like the first boat.

durty_curt 01-07-2013 8:32 AM

The teak needs a little love, so I was thinking about refinishing it. Other than that everything's in pretty good shape, it could use some new carpet but I'll probably do that next fall.

Congrats! Great little boats those 2001's. I have an '85, put about 700 hours on it over the last 4 years. Now at over 2100 hours, never any major problems.
We put either one 540 in the back, or 2 540's next to the engine, right against the driver's seat (not too far to the back).
Enjoy it!

photoguy 01-08-2013 5:49 PM

Loved my 88 what a great wake & that boat was more fun to drive than my 2000 SAN... Great memories!!!

get_sum 01-08-2013 9:20 PM

We had two 750's... One on each side of the engine and a 400 in rear of the engine along with 250 in lead under the nose.
