Where do I get them for my i/o??

Yes you can. Faria do aftermarket kits.

I fitted one to my 87 MC, Easy to do and far better than the pitot version.

All i'd say is be very carefull of the placement of the wheel in an i/o. It has to have good water flow past it and hull strakes and chines will effect the flow and may cause strange readings.

made the mistake of putting the paddle too close to the prop wash and it consistently ready 10-15mph over what the actual speed it. Idealy, you'd like to put it thru-hull somewhere in the middle. Understand that's not ideal if you're doing the work yourself...

I have considered PP but with an I/O I have heard it is not as effective. I may wait for the PP till next year when I buy an inboard.
