Hey Folks, <BR>Need a little help here, not much info when I did a search. Have a 2002 Launch SSV that took on a lot of water the other day, enough to have it come up in the seating area. Got the water pumped out, then fired up the boat, took it out on the lake and ran it for a while then shut it down. When we tried to fire it up to go in, it would crank over but would not fire. I'm not getting any spark from the igniter. Pulled the plugs off of the igniter and tried to read voltage but have nothing, that was with the key on. I have voltage in the main harness going to the engine. Everything has power on the boat, engine cranks strong. Checked the 60 amp breaker, it is not popped. <BR>The boat has the Assault MPI engine in it. <BR>Is there some thing I need to look at that I'm over looking. Check the coil???

The boat is fuel injected, it doesn't have a coil, it has an igniter, and yeah there is no voltage going to it. What would cause the igniter to not get power?

Wow mine is a 05 22ssv with a multi port injection indmar assault and it has a coil. Hmm not sure what would cause your problem. weird it does not have a coil though.

Well the thing your calling a coil, and I'm calling an igniter, is the same thing, regardless of which one it is, it is not getting 12V power to it.

Found the problem..... afreakin wire came off of the key ignition switch under the dash..... Stupid freakin problem
