I have a 2001 Nautique Sport Air. I need to replace the impeller but don't know exactly where it goes. There is nothing about it in the owner's manual, but I have been told it's behind the pulley on the starboard side of the engine where the hose is attached. Is this correct? If so, what is the best way to install it?

You should have two belts? One runs the alt and the other the raw water pump. Can you post a pic so we can see what type of pump it has?

I had an 02 Super Air and it had the GT-40 in it. Mine was on the Port side, not starboard.

It's on the passenger side. Loosen the two bolts that holds the belt, then loosen the four bolts that hold the impeller in. There ya go. Not to hard.

It is the starboard (driver side). It is inside the raw water pump. Thanks for the input.
