i have a malibu wakesetter 23 lsv with factory ballast and no fat sacs. For wakesurfing do i need fat sacs to get a good wake? If so, how much weight do i need? How many sacs? Where do i put the sacs

Colin, I have a 2003 VLX (21') and just fill the tank on the appropriate side along with the midship tank. Put everyone on the weighted side (about 3 people) and get a decent wake. No additional weight. Also put down the wedge run about 9.8 mph to 11.5 mph depending on how the wake looks to ya.

More weight is best but we still surf with only 3 people on my boat sitting on the side the person is surfing on with that tank full. I have found that I get the best wake by throwing weight in my back locker around 400 lbs or more makes the wave taller and easier to ride without the rope

I gotta '98 Moomba Mobius. any idea how much I will need? It doesn't have any stock ballast, but i got 1 sac, like 250, and my dad just ordered one like 680 to take place of the back seat... Thanx
