Need a decent handheld spotlight

Definitely want one that's 12v plug in, and led would ideal. Any recommendations?

Stanley Tools makes one. I got it as a Christmas gift and it's come in handy a few times when the boat ramp street lights were knocked out. There are several brands out there from $25 to $50 either corded or rechargeable. The plug in seem to be halogen and rechargeable seem to be LED.

I have really liked the Cyclops Spotlight (available on Amazon for $43). Small, has lasted over 3 years, still good battery life, low beam and really bright high beam.

I guess it's more about what you want to do with it as far as "spotlight" goes, but we've got a nice tactical flashlight (not necessarily used in tactical situations) but it spits 800 lumens and has a sliding lens to give awesome near or far light. Much better than any big spotlights for size and use. It'll light up the dock from 300-400 yds out perfectly. I'll check it out tomorrow and get you specifics, but it's going to be a little spendier than a 12v plug-in.
