Anyone use one of these and how it compares to the extremely expensive PTM edge???

I don't have any experience with that particular model, but I know that, generally speaking, CIPA makes good stuff. My dad's had one of their side mirrors on his barefoot boat for over a decade and it's still perfect. A bunch of other barefoot dudes rock CIPA mirrors and I've never heard any complaints.

It looks pretty awesome on the 2014 mastercraft x2 video. They had it for $61 shipped on amazon last week. If I didn't already have the ptm edge, I would have already ordered it.

All I'm seeing is 109 for the mirror and 136! For the bracket to mount on windshield. Am I missing something?

It uses a ball and socket mount like the ptm edge. You can use a ptm edge mount, but those are $$. Cipa makes a windshield mount that is $130 and a tower arm adapter mount. Monstertower.com has the Cipa tower arm adapter for $40.

the monster cipa adapter.

Do they have G3 tower arms, or could you just use the same one PTM uses?

Cipa and ptm use the same style ball mount. they are interchangeable. Though I don't know why someone would replace a perfectly good PTM mirror with a CIPA.

Is it as clear as the PTM version?
