I had to reset my perfect pass and I didn't check my #'s before I reset it. I've lost three days of riding do to the problem. I just can't get the KDW NN #'s back to the way they were. It surges up to 5 miles an hr. I've emailed perfect pass and I've tried 185/120,120/100. I have an 05 MB B52 V23 and we usually run 2500 lbs of ballast and 5 adults. Any advise would help.

Also wondering the same thing. Just got Perfect Pass in a '99 Maristar 230 with LT-1 engine and Acme 1235 14.5x14.25 prop. 95% of the time the boat is run with 4500 pounds of water. Right now the Perfect Pass really surges through turns and doesnt even keep speed that great. At least not $1500 great. Anything you guys know that could help me get it dialed in?

B52V23, I have some good numbers for V23s. Do you have the ZR6 or 330?

Make your KDW larger for larger speed changes each time the system makes a control move. I would go higher than 185 until it controls speed better. With the NN, the smaller it is the more often it will average the paddle wheel pulses and make a control move. <BR> <BR>So, by making KDW larger and NN smaller, you make the system try to control speed more aggressively by making bigger speed changes more often. <BR> <BR>Start with a KDW of 225 and an NN of 70, see where that gets you. If it takes a long time to get to the speed setpoint but does not overshoot (much), make KDW bigger. If it is twitchy and hunts around the setpoint, make NN bigger and/or KDW smaller. <BR> <BR>If you run with different loads, i.e. more or less weight and people, you may have to adjust these values.

Psyclone, thank you for the explanation. I had the NN backwards. Mine is only off by .3mph, but used to be within .1.

Alan Slabaugh, I have a PCM 330, whatever you can help me with would be great because I don't know what my numbers were. It was perfect for so long.

I am having the same issues on my '06 V23 Team. We've tried multiple settings via Randy and Gary at PP and three different prop configurations and still can't maintain speed when a rider loads the line. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also have the PCM 330. The local PCM tech (Correct Craft dealer) said they are having issues with the DBW system too. Thanks again.
