Trying to get opinions on this design for a new 2014 x10. Feedback would be helpful.

Looks amazing. Pull the trigger.
Love it!
Wow that looks sick!!
do it ... do it...
Thats really sharp. I keep thinking that it is a little too much blue but not sure where I would want to remove any either. Maybe try the bottom stripe black instead of blue? Just to see it side by side.
Thinking about pulling the trigger next year on one of these too. I need to upgrade my 08 X2

That boat is beautiful, did the X-10 replace the X-15? I heard the X-15 is no longer being produced this year?
MC stopped making the X15 the same year they introduced the X10. Despite being nearly identical length and also a traditional bow while most MCs are pickle forks, MC claims the X10 is not a replacement for or evolution of the X15. It walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, but apparently its not a duck.
Dunno about blue seats......white or silver with blue trim?
seems to me like they changed numbering schemes so the x15 had to go - if it ends in a 5 it is a pickle fork (with exception of x2). Plus, why have the x10, x15, and x35 all competing in the same size range. I think they just "thinned the heard" a little and dropped the x15 so in that size range you one traditional and one pickle.
Cant tell by the pic, but is that blue flake or solid blue? Canadian blue flake would be beautiful :)

Canadian flake looks great with black gel. Here it is on a 2014 X-25 that we just got in for a customer.
Can you build it without that tower and weird dip on the side?
I spent all weekend on a 2014 X10 and love that boat. Great surf wake, drives like a sports car, and plenty of interior/storage space.
I drove one and demoed it today and it drove like a tugboat. I absolutely hated the handling and the responsiveness.
"drives like a sports car" followed by "drives like a tugboat".
If you ever wanted a reason to test drive a boat versus going off other's opinions...there you go. |
Agree, definitely need more opinions. Don't see how it could NOT handle great. Let's face it, to handle great all you need is tracking fins and a 4 blade prop, and a decent power to weight ratio. That is all it has ever taken for me. And honestly for me, it was more the 4 blade prop then the tracking fins.
I like both color combos. The second one is the bomb though! That second one with the Canadian flake is really eye catching! That would look great on the water!

What is your area of medicine good sir? Quackery? I know plenty of physicians and none would ever consider putting "Dr" and "MD" in the same title. |
Is that a wood platform?

I was going to actually retract part of my criticism and say that black gel is as smooth as they come and the colors were good taste and the tooling clearly top notch. I thought the X25 was a traditional V shape. I am not a fan of MCs mini pickle on the new prostar, or on this boat. So shoot me. I see you are an MC owner. Sorry I don't like your brands styling cues. Feel better, I am sorry:confused: Thanks for your comments though. This is a discussion board. I can think of one post in the past month that I've given some negative feedback or criticism, other than that I am really unclear what options you are talking about. Hit me up with a PM if you need to discuss further. |

This is a great looking boat in my opinion. It just needs to be on the water with a little tint on the windows and some boards in the racks. |
I think it looks killer, the blue seats look good, if you want a picture of a blue interior I can shoot you some pictures I grabbed of a 2014 med blue at the local dealer. Just like with all black boats though, if you want it to pop be sure to be on your waxing/cleaning/waterspots game.
