I thought I would post a couple pics of my 2006 V210 on 20" wheels as there are not many that i could find pics of with bigger wheels on them when looking to see what they would look like... <BR>These wheels I actually bought 5 years ago for my 2000 S10 Xtreme, I since have sold the truck and had the wheels laying around so I started thinking... HMMM maybe these wheels would look good on the V210... <BR>I had to change the hubs to a 4.75" on 5, and the offset was right on. <BR>What do you think... <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/564955.jpg" alt="Upload">

How did you change the hubs?

I just ordered 2 new brake drum hubs, and 2 new reg hubs with the 4.75 bolt pattern. They are the same size as the original ones on the trailer except pattern is not 4.5"

I think they look sic. How low profile are the tires though? If I were you, I would make sure they are rated for towing <BR> <BR>Nice Boat BTW

Looks nice, now all you need to do is take the mothers powerball to them.....

They are a 255 35 20 tire. the tires are rated for 1500 lbs each, the rims are 2200 lbs. the ST trailer tires were 1700 lbs.. <BR> <BR>Yeah i haven't polished them up yet, just finished putting them on a couple dayz ago after the boat has been sitting in the garage since October.. pretty happy with the fit &amp; finish and being able to have the bearing buddies on while looking clean still

Not the look for me, but heck it's your money and if you are happy that should be all that matters.

Actually it didn't cost me anything really, just new hubs &amp; bearings (less then $200) as i had the wheels just sitting. The trailer seems to pull better as well. i think it is nice to have a larger wheel on your trailer if you have them also on your tow vehicle too...

Chris you should call up Extreme and Boatmate and share your advice with them. Doesn't look like they know what they are doing. I agree 20" on a trailer is a little over the top and not enough sidewall.

Well lets see, the boat is 2850 lbs dry. With it loaded up with fuel &amp; goods it would be at around 3200 lbs plus the weight of the trailer which is around 1000 lbs. So I'm at around 4200 -4400 lbs at the most. I think I have a good safety factor in there yet no?

Kris, you may well be within the load range for your setup, I was just pointing out that when passenger tires are used on trailers, you're using them for something they were not intended for. <BR> <BR> I had a single axle boat trailer waaaay back, that I put take-off car tires on, and had two blowouts in one summer rollin' the I-5 at 75mph ~ not much fun. <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/blush.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR> Take care, and love that Sanger! <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/wink.gif" border=0>

Its not an SS... I would get one if it wasan't so thursty!! Its an I6 with 300 H.P as to the 400 H.P the SS has.. I love the look of the SS and I came across some wheels at a good $$ so I jumped on getting them.. I'm still pondering the idea of a SS as it would be a nicer Tow but I do so much highway driving its hard to go from getting 20 around MPG with my Trailblazer over the SS which is claimed to average around 12 MPG <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/uhoh.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>Thanks for the compliments!
