I am in my first season of wakeboarding and my sons and I love it. I think I can finally get them to leave the tube at home!!<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" border=0> My question is about my binding setup. I can get up no problem, do butterslides and cut across the wake and back no problem. Working on a little air, I have only had about 5 pulls this year. Finally convinced my wife to drive for me and she did great. Anyway my problem is I can go out heelside and come back toeside, but when I try to cut back in switch or heelside, I just cant do it. I was wondering if changing my binding setup would help. Right now back foot is all the way back and at a 90 degree angle to board. Front foot is in the middle and about 45 degree angle. I was told this was a good beginner stance, but when I try to ride switch it is uncomfortable. I was thinking of opening up my back foot up and having both feet centered on the board. Will this help or is my setup fine and I just need to ride more? Any help would be greatly, thanks

center both feet on the board, and put your feet ducked out evenly.

A good trick I learned was to stand on something about 3 feet high. Do like a squatting jump up in the air really high, and land on the ground. However you land with your feet after that will end up being a comfortable position. Try setting up your bindings the same way.
