What type are you using, Synthetic / Manufacturer

I use Motorcraft 15/40 it's a synthetic blend it's not full synthetic

Delo 400.

Shell rotella 15w-40

I use Mobil 1 5w-40. Don't put pure synthetic in until 20 hours or more. It slows down the break in.

Rotella 15W-40 every 50 hours on my Indmar.

Pennzoil 15w-40.

Mobile 1 5W-40

tossed a camshaft in over the winter. Broken-in, but I still need to run 20/50 w/ zinc for 3 changes, then 20/50 after that.

Nacho, I forgot to ask How that turned out did it make a noticeable difference ?

15-40 castrol tection(sp?) extra deisel oil with Zinc. Its the only zinc oil in 15 40 I could find locally.

Monty, it's turning out great! still haven't fired her up yet. getting a few kinks worked out. It's all reassembled, except the carb and fuel line. Just been too busy to put any real time into it. i'll get it fired this weekend, the start working on jet sizes.
