Curious my buddy says there is no difference except graphics want to double check. If not I am going to snag an 08 tomorrow. Any help thanks.

Not the same at all. <BR> <BR> <BR>Recoil is all new in 09, new shape and everything.... and WAY WAY better. <BR>I loved the 08, went with the 09 and am sooooo sooo happy I did. honestly its worth the extra money.

May want to give Sine a demo before you purchase a Sling Shot. Couldn't hurt to check one out.

I had an '08, like my '09 much better. Redesigned rails, PBT bottom, different tip/tail shape, better graphics. My '09 is for sale if you want it, it is in really good shape, 142 Recoil. PM me if you're interested.

I understand everyone says the 09 is better but no one has yet to describe what is better about the ride. better edge, better pop, better speed, what is better? I understand what changes were made, but no one has ever said what differences those changes made in the ride.

Well coming from a cable mostly background the new base Really helps with not only sliding smoother but holding up better as well

Its way smoother feeling, pop is just as gentle but there is more off it... feels snappier, slides much better, and with the .6" response fins is perfect on edge
