Does anyone have any info on this park? The website is up and running and they claim to be hosting a summer points chase and triple crown. Ive called multiple times and got no answer???

According to their facebook page they are still building the cable. Beach is open though.

The beach has been there for years, and will supply plenty of first timers to rent a board and provide quality entertainment for everyone. I live a few miles from it and haven't really seen a whole lot of progress. Maybe the cable system goes up in a hurry? I think all the docks and piers have been put in place. IMHO, I think they're dragging their feet a bit, because it looks like they have a long way to go.

Yeah they're obviously behind but from the Facebook pics I gathered that they got the anchors in and are assembling the cable system now. Things take time to get done correctly.

I heard they are going through lawsuits or something like that with the land owners.

Ahh Thanks for the info. I understand its a slow progress, especially from the rider's perspective. The anticipation would kill me if I had to drive by it every day!

i heard there is a wake park in fayetteville nc and there is east wake park that has the 2.0

Don't think there are any lawsuits with the landowners, but I was told today that an engineer has them held up because of the placement of a few anchors, so they have had a few set backs.
