Servicing XPC dripless shaft seal?

My shaft seal is leaking a steady stream....Anybody know how to service it?
Or do I need to replace the whole unit?

Thanks guys......

I'm not sure which seal you got exactly? But on my sanger v210 v drive obviously I went and bought 2 18" crescent wrenches,I think they were 18" we'll big enough for the 2 bolts, so there is 2nuts one is a lick nut and the second one further down is the shaft nut. So I cut the handles off to about 4" long which is y I got them at harbor freight and not sears or somewhere with better quality,$15 instead of $100 each. Since you chop them you can get them under there put some cardboard under there incase you slip a by or something. So you loosen the top nut(lock nut) and tighten the shaft nut about a half a turn then lock down the lock nut and check the flow. Oh ya do it on the water do if it's not enough you can just do it again. You should have a couple drips a min. To lubricate. At least that's how I did mine but you don't really clarify boat or drive of yours so don't know if its the same. Saved $250 from the shop

Oh ya first yank the shaft laterally if it jiggles your seals are smoked if not just tighten it ;)

Mine is the red/white unit with a waterline going to the fresh water side of the impeller.
I think your describing how to tighten the ones with packing in them?

2007 Moomba LSV is the boat......but I dont think its a mfr specific unit?
