How important is a no stretch rope? If i blow chunks at wakeboarding and can only hop the wake will a spectra rope really make much of a difference for me?

A very low stretch rope is critical.

I stretchy rope is like driving a 70s american car with super sloppy steering.

With spectra, you'll be able to cut harder(better edge) and you won't experience any sling-shot effect upon landing. A must have in order to progress.
