I am not sure how the edging is supposed to be on this trick, but it looks like you are coming off your edge right at the wake. Maybe if you edge through and get more pop, you'll have a better chance at landing. Correct me if I'm wrong, just thought I would point out my observation.

tootsie's are a standard trip flip so coming off edge just before the wake is normal, same as straight toe front.

edge technique looks good, if it were me, i'd go a touch more edge on the cut, leave it a touch later and make sure you pop it up first, looks like your throwing your head down, which will cost you a bit of hieght.

looks bloody close though mate, gonna be sweet when you nail em consistant

Nice Alan!

I cant land these yet but have tried a few here and there...It looks like you have everything right just need more of a trip-flip edge so you go straighter up and down instead of across...?

Get that pop first! Can you do these on the tramp? It is looking good. It looks like you're rushing it a little bit, but I'm just another giving advice to a trick I have never tried!

i signed up at learnwake and submitted my video and was told by mike mcclin the same thing and im coming off my edge to early. that is an excellent site btw. he took my video and pulled out a few clips and sequenced them together and actually marked where i need to be coming off my edge and posted it. im sold. i'd recommend the site for anyone serious about learning. jarret i can land these on the tramp btw. and i also have dialed on on the water ts frontrolls and ts bs 180's.

A good tips that helped me was to watch the wake until you feel yourself trip, then yank the handle. Watching the wake forced me to wait long enough to get good pop.

where are you at with these? You took a beating, just curious if your landing them now?

hey jonny, shortly after this video was taken i shipped of to afghanistan(last summer) and ive been in afghanistan this whole summer too. i just got back last week. im going to get all of my stock tricks down and then tackle this. i think i should have all my old stuff down this weekend and hopefully get some attempts on this too. i'll let you know how it goes. if anyone is thinking of doing this i would suggest hitting a tramp first. otherwise you'll be pretty lost in the air.

nice vid! ya i would say you are flattening out correctly but maybe cut a little wider and take a more aggressive edge at first. my knees and face hurt from watching that. you are a pretty tough guy man haha
