I read all of the other threads, and i dont understand. You all say that if you can ollie on a skateboard it helps a lot, but i can ollie like 1 1/2 foot on a skateboard and i cant do jack on the wakeskate. I may be getting a good 5 inches if i get lucky and dont fall face first. Any tips?

When you hit the wake, are you keeping your legs bent, or standing tall? The more you bend your knees at the point of "pop", the less air you'll get. As you edge in, slowly bend more. You want your hardest edging to be closest to the wake. Then when you get there, stand tall and let the wake do the work. once you are in the air tuck up, then land. Does that make any sense?

That snap instructional is excellent! I've never ridden a skateboard really and for me it was the act of pulling up my backfoot that took some getting used to. Very foreign.

Standing tall is for a wakeboard but not a wakeskate (I think that's covered in the link, or at least on the DVD itself). Standing tall on a wakeskate will push you up but the wakeskate won't follow.

Jason and Jessy that really helped out a lot. especially the video. It really took you step by step and showed you what to do. Thank you so much, im thinking about buying SNAP now!
