Tune up how often?

How often do you change your plugs and impeller? I have 250 hours on my PCM 343.

Impellar every 100. Plugs every 300.
oil every 50.
tranny oil, Vdrive oil every 100.

^^^sounds about right. I do the impeller once a year when I change the oil though. Bout 65 hours per year on mine average.

Fresh impeller every spring. Don't leave an impeller in the motor over the winter. It will take a "set" and may fail sooner. If you do re-use an impeller, remove it for the winter and it will last longer.

Ok thank you all. I just wanted to know, i change the oil ever 50-60 hours and i have never changed the impeller so thats on the list. thinking of changing the plugs well i'm at it

I changed my impeller for the first time last year at 192 hours (2006 boat), and it was in perfect condition. I replaced it since I had it in my hand, but will probably wait 200-250 for next change...

Changed impeller this year after 3 years and it looked perfectly fine, not like new but close. Definitely don't see it needing replaced every year at least in my boat FWIW.

It's kinda wierd. I've changed mine every year and some years it looks like it really needed it and some years it doesn't. The hours are almost identical every year give or take 8 hours. My view is: peace of mind is worth alot when it comes to my fun so why chance it? It's a $48.00 part. Cheap insurance imo.
