advice for selling a boat

So I have a 2002 vlx that im looking to either sell or trade in. Just thinking its time to upgrade to either a 2010 or 2011. I'm the original owner, has 500 hours, and every option that came with the boat that year except for a wedge and perfect pass (didn't realize what a difference those things would make back then)

Does anyone have an idea about what it would would roughly be worth? I looked in boat trader and I see a 10k swing between20-30k. Just had it serviced at paradise and they said it was in great shape.

Any advice or where to find this info would be great.

This is a bad time of year to sell a boat, so it will probably be the low end of your range.

Agreed. Between the poor economy & the fact that it's fall, mid to low $20ks. Also depends on what features you have too. IMO Malibu had not quite stepped up in 02. They were still dealing with some shoddy vendors at the time, ie; ProFlight.

All titan accessories, so would it be fair to ask about 25k and go from there? Its not like I need a new boat, but we all can relate to wanting a new boat.

Yea, $25k is a good starting point. Might be a good idea to list it in the spring & ask like $28k. Maybe spend some time over the winter detailing it, fixing any little issues, etc.

All Titan is a good selling point.
