When towing my boat around town is it ok to keep the wakeboards tied down to the tower and tow that way?

There probably not going to go anywhere but why take a chance? We take them down everytime we get out of the water.

I say go for it - all the cool people are doing it.....<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/proud.gif" border=0>

OK, I have done it for going around the corner or anything below regular boat speeds. I wouldn't recommend it if you are getting up to freeway speeds.

I wouldn't do it period! Like Ryan said, why take the chance...

Nothing says "look how cool I am" like towing your rig around with boards up on the racks.

Should have seen all "the cool people" stuck on 1-25 on saturday.

Well the boat launch is about 5 minutes down the road, &amp; I don't go over 45mph, so I put the bimini up &amp; boards on the racks. Not to look cool, but so I don't have to do it at the launch. But boards on the racks on the interstate, probably not a good idea.
