easy hardware,a mount that has full angulation, a rope ring lets not forget what the tower is used for, heim joint fitting with base, heim joint and weld foot and maybe a lap joint if he wants to get creative. Vladimir draw somthing for your boat and I will tell you what you need.

Hi guys, Thank you for useful information you sent. Please also tell what is the good demension of base plates to safe the tower from eradication, and what is the best hight of a tower from watterline. As for the heim joints of course I can find it in Russia. But we have no producers of wakeboard towers here in Russia because of low demand in a local market. The wakeboarding is wery young in Russia but towers of overseas producers cost a lot of many due to cargo and customs duties. But we have a lot of good specialists in metall items makingso I should give them a task in right way.
Vladimir
the bimini matches the interior desins and the racks I just started cutting, with a oval to round one clamp rack.

DO you guys sell that speakerwire disconnect or know where I can get one? That is exactly what I have been looking for and when I go to stereo shops they look at my like I am crazy.

norcalmalibu 06-03-2005 11:44 PM

I need one also! were can we buy it!

Check on Ebay for the speaker wire disconnect. I've seen the harnesses there before. Check Item #: 7160759121. Just about any wire connector will work, a buddy of mine did his tower speakers with trailer wiring connectors (4-flat) that he had lying around the garage, works great.

That connection is made by a company called AMP. Usually a car audio shop will have no idea what that is because they have no use for it if they are not doing boat installs. If you go to a local electronics store, they should have what you are looking for. Also take a look at the Neutriks connectors like what Grant did on Jasons boat, http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/212222.html?1117550038 , he used the double female in the middle, but they also sell a base mount like the AMP one shown above. The Neutriks are easier to wire and have alot more room in them. If you use a smaller wire like 16 guage or smaller, then the AMP will work fine, but when you start getting into like 14-12 guage it starts getting harder to stuff that big of a wire into that little AMP connector.

Dan and Nate call Hydrocide 916-233-4129 and ask them for a 16pin wiring harnes, Mike are you serious about the 4pin flat that's oaky, and yes it is by a company called AMP if you want it in pieces try to buy from MOUSER, the NEUTRICS are also good to work with just do'nt like the colors. Digikey.com and mouser.com all stock AMP parts. We use them in all of our electronic display products. You can get all flavors, even ones with IP68 rating (ie waterproof).
