If you don't mind my asking, how much does a 2001 go for?
|

8k, the boat only has 422 hours. Well atleast had that before the 4 I put on it sunday. The interior is really clean and the boa fires right up and runs awesome. I bought it from pacific nautiques in the seattle area. I looked at a week ago and the prop was bent, so instead of fixing that they just threw on a 4 blade acme. The lettering all is going to need to be taken off, so I can buff and wax it. I had a great time back out on Sammamish sunday and think it will provide me with a lot of fun in the future. Thank you for the complimants.

(Message edited by polarbill on July 02, 2006)

Probably the nicest $8K boat I've seen

Beautiful 2001. The upholstry would sell me that boat by itself. Congrats, the wake is freakin sweet on those things. PUT A TOWER ON IT!!!

I think I know the old owner of that boat. He was in his late fifties, and had pampered it the entire time he owned it. We used to see him from time to time at Sammamish, and at the same time every year over at Pateros.

Very nice looking boat in person, enjoy.

I got to take a ride behind the new boat yesterday. With 350# side sacs and 4 people in the boat it threw up a way bigger wake than my 84 mastercraft. I was expecting it to be steep as well and holy crap it was. I am going to have to get use to that. Right now the boat has no stereo and I was wondering where the best place to install front 6.5's is. I was planning on the combing pad just aft of the throttle and in the same place on the port side. If anybody has any tips on cutting threw the vinyl pad and fiberglass I would appreciate it.

"I was wondering where the best place to install front 6.5's is."

In your car. Enjoy the scenery. That's the second best part of the boat-owning experience (behind wakeboarding of course). Kidding aside, if I remember correctly, isn't that area prone to getting wet if you take water over the nose? I'm not saying you're a bad driver or anything but in my experience every v hull takes water over the bow at some point. I'd hate for you to lose nice speakers in the process.
