Alright, I know I can do some research on my own but if someone doesn't mind...

What is the best wake boat in the 20-30K range? Brand new that is. I'm not looking for a Nautique 210 or MC X-Star here.. obviously! What I am wondering is if a Nautique that isn't a 'Super Air' series might be a better investment then say a Moomba or Supra. Not saying those are bad boats but hey, we all know Nautique deserves it's rep.!

On a side note, how would you fill out a pro's and con's list of a ski boat vs. a pleasure boat.

Thanks!

Super Sport.
like SSV-211 and the such?
I don't believe you will find too many new Supras in that range.
There's a pretty big difference between a 20K boat and a 30K boat. Wanna narrow it down?
he said brand new. I believe the only brand new wake boat you'll get near that price is a d-drive moomba.
The resale is much better on a ski boat than a pleasure boat. I'm not sure but I don't think you will get a Supra for less than 40k out the door. I know you can get a Moomba cheaper than the Supra. Elane just bought his Moomba maybe he will share cost on the Moomba.
Yea I supose the price range was a little unrealistic unless your talking used. What I was really trying to avoid was all the options and packages that can make any boat compareable to any other boat depending how you stack the packages.

Also, used isn't bad so long as very low hours and within a year maybe two old.
lol, looks like your headed for a mooomba outback.
Thats what I was thinking, thanks for the help all! Guess im gonna just do the 226.

"What I was really trying to avoid was all the options and packages that can make any boat compareable to any other boat depending how you stack the packages"

What???

226? are you serious?

(Message edited by EWATER on July 22, 2006)

How do you go from 20-30k to a 226. If you were thinking of a 226 why did you set that kind of price range??? You can get the Supra 24 ssv gravity games edition along with many other great boats for less than a 226.
Yea you could but it's not a Nautique. If I could stay under 30K and get a nice new boat, not a Moomba, fine! But if not, may as well go and do the dang thing!
Wow... so what color do those Nautique goggles come in?
how much is a dd launch? there nice with a nice wake. probably 36k?
Yea no disrespect to other brands and their respected owners! You like what you like. Dream boat would have to be a 220, I ride behind my buddies and that this is spot on!!!!!!!!!!!!
882001
I think they are a couple of thousand cheaper than a v-drive. Might as well get the v-drive.

Paul
You better just "Go and do the dang thing". Sounds like you have plenty of $$$$ so no need to worry about best bang for you're buck.

I had a friend that had a Launch and the main deck fell apart. I think it was a lemon though cause thats just crazy. It was at the factory getting fixed for months.
sell 4-5 homes and pay cash for a 210.
220!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big fan now. Although I can't wait to see what they do with the new layout of the 210.
Sell 4-5 homes pay and pay cash I understand.
I don't under stand asking for a new boat at 20-30k and then jump straight to a 226 and then a 220.
Bait.
Haha, 220 is out of the question, my buddy has that so i'm good there. I've been looking more and the SV-211 is starting to look very promising!
