Problem with PP Stargazer
 

So my Perfect Pass GPS enabled cruise went out on me a month ago, it says "no GPS data", I checked the connection to the module several times and it appears in good solid condition...so PP says I need a GPS receiver thats $269 bucks from them....okay, here's the real question, I found what appears to be the exact same garmin receiver on amazon for under $50 and it appears that you can hook-up the wire connections to the old module attachment with a little wire work...does anyone know if that will or would work? Or am I goona have to fork out $300 bones to PP for their GPS receiver?

Call them and tell them. See what they say

It is a standard receiver from Garmin that they use, but PP has really good customer service, from my experience, so you should call them to confirm.

Back when i had pp on my 2008 larson that happened. They knocked off a few bucks at pp. But if it was me I would probably go for the amazon one if somehow you can confirm it is same. Can you look at wire colors from old one or model off it.
