My dad and I are wanting to build an A-frame, but we need to find out what all the out side dimensions are for the slider. <BR>If anybody can help that would be great! <BR> <BR>Thank you

Hey man, there are no exact dimensions to build a slider. You can build it as big or small as you like, just make sure you don't build something you are uncomfortable hitting.

Just do a thread search here on wakeworld. There are sooo many slider threads on here. I think that a problem a lot of people make while building there first a frame is making the transition up to the flat to steep. What looks good in drawings and in most peoples head is to steep. It will cause you to get air and jump alot of the a frame without even wanting to. But ive heard of dimensions being 16'x 20'x 16'

A lot of people use TREX for the top material of the slider. Its a decking material approximately 1/2 an inch thick. It slides well and is easy to countersink screws in to. It is sold in 12 foot by 8 inch sections. I think wide sliders are more fun, but that could just be me.

Double-wide trex is a very nice width. <BR> <BR>You'll want your A-frame to be at least 50' long. Longer is better.

a good dimention (for your first one) is 20' up to 16' flat to 20' down. 20' flat on top is good too, but you'll have to go a bit faster to clear. <BR> <BR>going over 15 degrees on the incline and decline will make it tough to "lock on" and will buck you wildly. If your incline and decline are 20' long then make the flat about 5' above the lip of the incline (that'll be about 15 degrees, but i havent done trig in a while so dont hold me to that!). <BR> <BR>good luck!

it was about 5 feet off the water with with the start just barely in the water.
