I have just really started to get into wakeboarding and was looking for my first boat. I was looking for some opinions on this boat. I gotta go cheap for now until I learn more about boats, etc. What do you think of this boat...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=011&sspagename=S TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=32012812970 1&rd=1,1

I have only had experience with one comp style Marlin Ski Boat. The one we had was very well built and felt very solid in the water. It looks as if the owner of that boat did ALOT of work to add some really cool things to a boat of that age. As far as the wake goes I can not comment on that as the one we had was a different hull design. That is one very interesting boat and I would love to drive and ride it to see how it does compared the one we had. I can tell you that you will not find many direct drive boats that old with the interior layout and seating like that one has. Definitley unique.

Looks pretty sweet to me. Similar hull shape to a MC maristar.
I reckon it will make a superb entry level boat.
